Exam Season: Mission Complete
As the end of the academic year arrives, students across the school had to give one final push to show off all the learning they have done this past year. From Monday 26th June to Wednesday 5th July, each year group sat at least six exams in the sports hall to get a feel for what it will be like to do the GCSEs at the end of year 11.
In this helpful yet challenging time of the year, students were able to learn how to behave and prepare for such an important time in their education. It allows us to get used to the nerves of going into a large hall and sitting an exam, so we don’t panic during GCSEs and A Levels where we’ll be sitting the real papers. Of course it was very nerve-wracking but it definitely gave us a great insight into how our futures can be determined by a single exam paper.
Ms. Ram, the school’s Examinations Officer, helped massively during these exams and made sure everyone had the correct paper and equipment before they began their tests. Therefore, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank her for all of her hard work. Fingers crossed for everyone as they get their exam results back!
