We follow the OCR A-Level Maths specification, and details can be found on the OCR web page at www.ocr.org.uk.

You will sit three modules in June of Year 12 (Core Maths 1, Core Maths 2 and Statistics 1) and the final three modules in June of Year 13 (Core Maths 3, Core Maths 4 and either Decision Maths 1 or Mechanics 1).

The Mathematics Faculty is committed to ensuring that you make good progress throughout your AS level or A2 course.  In order that you make the best possible start to the course, we have prepared a booklet that you will use prior to the course. You will need to have a good knowledge of the basic topics before you commence your course in September.  You should have met all the topics before at GCSE.

You will then need to complete the Introduction to A-Level Maths Homework and hand this in during the first lesson in September.

We will test you towards the end of September to check how well you understand these topics, so it is important that you have revised the topics before then.
