Grace Academy Coventry has invited students to do the talking and share their real, everyday experiences of school life in a new video to showcase the Academy, launched this week.
So many amazing things take place at Grace Academy and we wanted the new video to offer a genuine glimpse of who we are and what we do to our wider local community.
We believe that every student has the potential to be successful, and it’s our job to make sure that happens. Here are just some of the comments from the students who took part:
“Grace helps me achieve my goals through the teachers because they help me and the students in any way possible. They put the students first and it’s just great.”
“All the teachers are very supportive and have taught me a lot about all the subjects.”
“It’s like being a part of a massive family. Everyone respects each other and just gets along.”
“The best thing about Grace Academy is the opportunities they offer to all their students.”
“They don’t just care about the Academic side, but also the mental health of every student.”
“It was very easy to settle in with students in my year group because it was very welcoming and warm.”
“We are always pushed to reach our goals and potential.”
We were delighted to hear such encouraging things from the students about how they find being at Grace Academy, and we hope this will instil an excitement and confidence in any younger pupils and families who may be considering joining us in the future.
As well as producing an individual film to highlight the unique strengths and attributes of Grace Academy Coventry, students joined together from Grace Academies in Solihull. Darlaston and Coventry, and from all year groups, to share their experiences in an overall film.
In an age of social media and smartphones, we believe in the value of connecting with our community, both online and offline, and recognize the importance of promoting who we are and what we do in a way that our community can easily engage with.
We really do believe that Grace Academy is a remarkable place to learn, work and achieve, and this is just one small way we can share this with the wider community and those we hope may consider joining us in the future!
