Adding a touch of sparkle to the Coombe Abbey Hotel, seventy-five Coventry students dressed to impress at their end of year prom.
The students from Grace Academy Coventry covered the cost of the prom themselves and celebrated the end of their exams with a sumptuous dinner and dance.
Teacher Chris Hernon commented:
“After a hard two years of study, working towards their future careers and life, this celebration marks a real transition from childhood towards adult life and is incredibly well-deserved. We are proud of all they have achieved and look forward to welcoming many of them into our Sixth Form as shining lights to other students.”
Speaking after the prom, student Jaya Villiers said:
“It was great seeing everyone making such an effort. People looked unrecognisable. It was lovely to see the Head Teacher, Ms Monga, there too. Great scenery for pictures.”
Student Liam McGurk added:
“The prom was so fun. It was nice to see everyone for the last time at the end of exams.”
