Business and Enterprise

Ever wondered what it would be like to enter the Dragon’s Den, learn how to trade and invest on the stock market, or find out more about the art of good customer service?

This is all part of the curriculum at Grace Academy where our top priority is to encourage every student, not only to achieve their full academic potential, but also to learn the skills they need to help them excel in the workplace.

Through our Business and Enterprise Specialism, we can draw on the expertise of over 62 business professionals from 16 local companies who partner with us to offer students workshops and advice to help improve their employability.

We recognise that professionals from the business world are the best equipped to show our students what the expectations of industry are, and can help us to make them ready for work, equipped with the skills they will need in their future careers.

The Ethos & Enterprise Journey

We recognize that the shift from education to employment is massive and very often young people are just not prepared for this change.  Getting the best qualifications you can for the career that you want is obviously very important but there are many other traits that employers are looking for.  That’s why we have designed the Your Career journey alongside leading national businesses.  The journey is a series of off timetable activities that help our students to develop their own skill set while learning about the world of work and building up their employability portfolio.  We are confident that when our students leave us they feel more confident about their prospects in the workplace and will find the transition into working life far easier.
