Closure protocol

Please be advised of the procedures to follow during inclement weather conditions throughout the winter months.

Grace Academy will follow the procedures laid down by Coventry City Council.  All parents/carers/students are advised to listen to the local radio station for up-to-date information; information can also be found on the Grace Academy Coventry Website

Local radio stations are:

• BBC Coventry & Warwickshire (95.6 FM)
• Free Radio (previously Mercia FM – 96.4FM)
• Heart FM (100.7 FM)
• Touch FM (96.2FM)

You are requested not to telephone the media as this may impede communication between schools and radio stations.

These procedures should be followed on a daily basis in order that the most current information is available to you.

In the case of snowfall, unless information regarding closure is announced via Grace Academy Gateway, media/Coventry City Council website you can be assured that Grace Academy will be open for business as normal and ALL students will be expected to attend.
