Year 6 Transition

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you into the Grace Academy Family, where we are passionate about our values:

These values underpin everything that we do – we call it ‘The Grace Way.’ We want you to understand how we do things here, and why we do them in this way. We are incredibly proud of our school, and you will be too! You will enjoy being at school with us here at Grace Academy, even though sometimes learning is hard - it’s supposed to be! We are always willing to listen, and your journey with us really does matter to us.

You may be excited and a little bit nervous about moving into a new school, which is to be expected, but at Grace Academy you will be made to feel welcome and a part of our school community very quickly. Our staff and your new teachers are looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you into Grace Academy where you will be a proud member of our school.

In the spring term, our Transition Booklet will be sent to you, and this will provide you with an introduction to your new school. Please take your time to read it and discuss the contents with those you live with.  You can also see our Transition Booklet by using the link below.
