Admissions Policy 2023/2024 Consultation

We are now consulting upon our proposed Admissions policy for 2023/2024. Attached is the current policy with details around the proposed change. The consultation opens on 2nd December and will end on 17th January. The proposed change is the addition of staff children to the oversubscription criteria
  • Rationale: This is to support both staff recruitment and retention
  • Wording: “Children of staff at the Academy, in either of the following circumstances: The member of staff has been employed at the Academy for 2 or more years at the time at which the application for admission to the Academy is made, or the member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage”.
